In short
The developer of Flitz does not collect, store or transmit any personal data. All entries, including information about your child's health, stay on your device only. There is no account, no syncing over the internet, no advertising, no analytics or tracking, and no developer servers.

Processing on your device
Flitz stores the following only in the app on your device. None of it is sent to the developer or to third parties:
- your child's first name, routines, stars and rewards
- the feelings your child picks on the calm island
- the behavior diary (ratings, tags, notes)
- medication details, doses, weight, height and observations
- appointments, questions for the appointment and your pediatric practice's contact details
This may be health data under Art. 9 GDPR. As it never leaves your device, the developer does not process it. It stays entirely under your control.
PIN, Face ID and Touch ID
The PIN for the parents' area is only kept as a check value (hash) in your device's keychain. If you turn on Face ID or Touch ID, iOS checks your face or fingerprint. Flitz never receives biometric data, only whether the check succeeded.
Reminders
The medication reminder and the end of the focus timer are local notifications scheduled by Flitz on your device. No data is sent.
Read aloud
The read-aloud feature in the knowledge section uses the iOS speech output on your device.
Report and observation sheet
Flitz creates the PDF documents on your device. They are only passed on when you send, print or save them yourself using the share sheet. The receiving app or person is then responsible for any further processing.
Backup
On request, Flitz creates a backup file with all entries. The file is created on your device, and you decide where to store or send it (for example iCloud Drive or AirDrop). Please keep it safe, as it contains health information about your child.
Call, directions and email
When you tap "Praxis anrufen", "Route planen" or "E-Mail schreiben", Flitz opens the iOS Phone, Maps or Mail app with the details you entered. Flitz itself transmits nothing. Links to counseling services open the respective website in Safari.
Purchases
The full version is purchased entirely through Apple's App Store. Flitz receives no payment or personal data, only whether the full version is unlocked. Flitz keeps the start of the free trial in your device's keychain.
Children
Flitz is meant for parents who use the app together with their child. The children's area contains no advertising and no external links. Purchases are only possible on the purchase screen and are confirmed by Apple with your Apple ID. The parents' area is protected by a PIN.
Your rights
As the developer does not collect any personal data, no data about you or your child is held by the developer. You can change your entries in the app at any time or remove them under Einstellungen › Alle Daten löschen. Deleting the app also removes them completely. For privacy questions, contact me at the email address above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
