The developer of Stapel-Oma does not collect, store or transmit any personal data itself. There is no account and there are no developer servers. Stapel-Oma is free and is funded by advertising from Google AdMob. Google processes data for this as described below. A one-time purchase turns off all ads.

Processing on your device
Your high score, the sound setting and whether you bought "Remove Ads" are stored on your iPhone only and are never sent to the developer. Music and sounds are generated by the app on your device.
Advertising by Google AdMob
Stapel-Oma shows ads through Google AdMob, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. There are two kinds of ads: an optional video that lets you continue after the tower falls, and an occasional full-screen ad between rounds.
When an ad loads, data is sent to Google so it can deliver and measure ads. This may include:
- your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), if you allow tracking
- your IP address and your approximate location derived from it
- device information such as model, operating system and language
- which ads were shown to you and whether you tapped them
- crash and performance data from the ads SDK
Google uses this data to deliver ads, measure their performance, prevent fraud and – only with your consent – personalize ads. Data may be transferred to countries outside the EU, in particular the USA. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Your consent
On first launch, Stapel-Oma uses a consent form from Google (User Messaging Platform) to ask whether personalized ads may be shown and whether information may be stored on or read from your device. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG.
iOS then asks whether Stapel-Oma may track you across apps and websites owned by other companies. Google only receives your device's advertising identifier if you allow this.
If you decline, you still see ads, but they are not personalized. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time under Datenschutz at the bottom of the start screen, and the tracking permission in your iPhone settings under Privacy & Security › Tracking.
Purchases
"Remove Ads" is purchased entirely through Apple's App Store. Stapel-Oma receives no payment or personal data, only whether the purchase was made.
Children
Stapel-Oma is suitable for all ages but is not directed specifically at children. Purchases are confirmed by Apple with the Apple ID. Parents can restrict purchases and tracking in the iPhone's Screen Time settings.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future. As the developer does not collect any personal data itself, no data about you is held by the developer. For data processed by Google, you can also contact Google directly.
